**Course Overview**

**Welcome to Mrs. Latimer's 6th grade math class!****You will work with many different concepts this year, such as order of operations, measurement, perimeter/area, integers, algebraic equations, graphing, and ratios, to name a few. We will also focus on math applications, so you will see and experience the relevancy of math in your daily lives. You will be responsible for keeping a math binder with a tool kit to help organize your materials. I encourage you to check this periodically to ensure you are familiar with the concepts being covered.****I look forward to working with you and getting to know each of you this year!
